Hey. Thank you for the phonecalls, sms-es, msn msgs and so on.
I'm O-K-A-Y.. Really.
Maybe still feeling alittle lousy, but life goes on. Gotta pick up the pieces and move on right? Ha.
A lot of people have been telling me that i was very unlucky, that if I had stayed at the chalet longer, or if I had not gone to the chalet at all, or if I had chose a different route, things would have turn out differently.
I know you guys mean well, but I really do get irritated when I hear such comments.
I mean, WHY STOP THERE?
If I'm going to torture myself with these scenerios about what might have been avoided, well, why not go all the way?? If only Toyota had never exported that Crown taxi that he was driving that night, if only Citycab did not hire him as a driver, if only the Japanes Occupation had been different and the cab driver's dad had been killed in the war blah blah... and so it goes on.
The point is, its meaningless to ramble on about the endless twists in the chain of fate. What had happened happened already.
Let's move on, shall we?

Went over to the Renault workshop with my mum to look at the car and settle the insurance claim.
The car looks much worse in broad daylight. The left side of the car is kinda caved in and the doors are more or less twisted, tortured tangle of metal... It really HURTS to see my car in such a bad shape and its going to take at least 3-4 wks to get it repaired.. Sigh.
And the insurance guy was saying I was really lucky that the car did not hit me from the right instead and I was thinking "Not again?!! Why don't you just say if only his car did not bang into my car??"
But the good thing is that i can rent a car and claim the money from the insurance firm. Or alternately, I could claim about $50 daily transport allowance.
Hmmm.. still undecided though.
